The most popular game throughout the world is the 32 card pack of playing cards, there is no need to understand any particular language to understand the cards meanings and it is this that has made them so popular worldwide. They have an enigmatic origin and several theories have been hypothesised. The first is through the Chinese route: An official of the Emperor Hei Song was the inventor of a game involving 32 ivory tablets. The second route is Indian: This game came to us through a nomadic people fleeing India and whose descendants are now the Tziganes, or Romany people. The third is the Arab route whereby the 32 cards were introduced by the Spanish Moors. Finally the European route: Although experts? opinions differ as to the exact country, Italy is the most probable originating European country.
